Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University School of Nashville). They were the clear victors by a 19-9 margin over the Stratford Spartans on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lynden Anckner was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Nevaeh Mitchell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

University School of Nashville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in seven consecutive games.

University School of Nashville's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Stratford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
