Basketball Recap: Waterville Takes a Loss

Waterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 50-25 to the Winslow Black Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-37 back in January.

Waterville's record now sits at 0-17. As for Winslow, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterville has already played their next matchup (against Maine Central Institute), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Winslow will challenge Leavitt at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
