Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Addison Gee stepped things up a notch to give Monacan the 'W'. Gee went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. Those RBI were her first of the season.

Looking ahead, Gee and Monacan will welcome Matoaca at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chiefs will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 159 places lower in Virginia), but they're not letting that get them down.
