Northwestern waltzed into their match on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Edison Red Raiders. The Bulls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Raiders, too.

Northwestern's got stronger as the match went on, holding Edison to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-7, 25-5.

Northwestern's offense was headlined by Newton Myah and Jazmin White, who picked up five kills apiece. They were helped by Jaiel Langston and Da'Nay Murray, who contributed two assists each. Myah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Edison, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Northwestern will welcome Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
