Norton won the last time they faced Plainville and things went their way on Friday too. The Norton Bluejays really took it to the Plainville Cardinals for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-11 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-1.

Norton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hallie Brooks out in front who went 5 for 11 on her way to 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Brooks is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Emma Collins was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds.

Norton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Norton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season. As for Plainville, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
