Soccer Recap: Austintown-Fitch Takes a Loss

Austintown-Fitch lost against Kenston back in September of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bombers. While losing is never fun, Austintown-Fitch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Kenston are ranked 95th).

Austintown-Fitch has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season. As for Kenston, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season.

Austintown-Fitch wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Harding on the 6th. As for Kenston, they have also already played their next match, a 10-2 win against South on the 7th.
