Basketball Recap: Aaron White Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights Win

Preston's game on Saturday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past the Riverside Warriors 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since January 12th.

Preston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aaron White, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Hayes, who posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

The victory made it two in a row for Preston and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Preston will take on Buckhannon-Upshur in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside and Cabell Midland will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
