Recap: Bellarmine College Prep Bells vs. Saint Francis Lancers
The Bellarmine College Prep Bells's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They received a tough blow as they fell 28-10 to Saint Francis. Bellarmine College Prep has not had much luck with Saint Francis recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Saint Francis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aaron Knapp, who threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Keanaaina, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
Bellarmine College Prep has yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 2-8 record. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Saint Francis, Archbishop Riordan, and McClymonds. As for Saint Francis, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Bellarmine College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Saint Francis will look to defend their home field on Friday against Wilcox at 7:00 p.m.
