Football Game Preview: Reading Blue Devils vs. Wyoming Cowboys + How To Watch

Reading is 1-9 against Wyoming since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m.

Reading's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Mariemont on Friday. They were beaten by the Warriors 31-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Wyoming had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 49-13. Given the Cowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Wildcats are ranked 634th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wyoming, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Reading was taken down by Wyoming 31-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Thankfully for the Blue Devils, Joel Hancock (who rushed for 142 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
