Volleyball Recap: Little River Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against West on Tuesday, Little River Academy came back down to earth. The Bumblebees took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vandegrift Vipers on Thursday.

Vandegrift was led to victory by Siri Krishna and Jamison Smith. Krishna had six aces and one assist, while Smith had three digs and two aces. That's the most aces Smith has posted since back in October of 2024.

Little River Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Vandegrift, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Little River Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Gateway College Preparatory on the 14th. As for Vandegrift, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 14th.
