After losing to Magnolia the last time they met, Clay-Battelle decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cee-Bees won by a set and slipped past the Blue Eagles 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cee-Bees.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Clay-Battelle who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-27, 15-10.

Ginger Gross paced Clay-Battelle's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gross got some help from Maggie Lemley and her 21 assists. Finally, Nevaeh St.Clair kept Clay-Battelle's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Clay-Battelle's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Magnolia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Clay-Battelle will challenge Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Magnolia, they are taking a road trip to take on St. Marys at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
