Miller won against Pierce City last Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Cardinals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ash Grove Pirates, sneaking past 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Miller's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Ash Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller will host Stockton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ash Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pierce City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
