Soccer Recap: Cortez Comes Up Short

Cortez lost to Washington back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colts fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1.

Cortez's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Cortez will challenge Glendale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cortez will be up against Glendale's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.33 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Washington, they will square off against Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
