Volleyball Recap: Dade County Has No Trouble Against South Pittsburg

Dade County won the last time they faced South Pittsburg and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates. The matchup marked the Wolverines' most dominant win of the season so far.

While Dade County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-22.

Myah York paced Dade County's offense, picking up nine kills. York got some help from Harper Lynch and her 16 assists. Caroline Bell controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Dade County and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for South Pittsburg, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Dade County will head out to take on Ringgold at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Pittsburg, they will venture away from home to square off against Whitwell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
