Perry has gone 7-2 against York recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Golden Knights at 4:30 p.m. Perry has now lost nine straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since May 2.

Last Monday, Perry came up short against Pavilion and fell 11-6.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when York and Dansville meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Golden Knights were the clear victors by a 16-7 margin over the Mustangs. Considering the Golden Knights' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

York's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Perry's way against York in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Perry made off with a 17-4 win. Do the Yellowjackets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
