Flintridge Prep waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over the Verdugo Hills Dons. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Verdugo Hills lost, don't look at Jeffrey Moran. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. Charles Palacios was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

Flintridge Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Verdugo Hills, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.
