Volleyball Game Preview: Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles vs. Glenn Falcons

The Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Glenn Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkhart Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Fort Wayne Canterbury wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Elkhart Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Kiara Trovatore. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1 thanks in part to Trovatore, who had 25 assists and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Elkhart Christian Academy who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 15-7.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elkhart Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addy Trovatore, who had ten digs.

Elkhart Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Glenn came up short against Northridge on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elkhart Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.
