Basketball Recap: T.L. Hanna Takes a Loss

T.L. Hanna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mauldin Mavericks. The contest marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Mauldin can attribute much of their success to Nathan Wilbourne, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Cam Batcher, who posted seven points.

T.L. Hanna's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Mauldin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

T.L. Hanna has already played their next game, a 60-54 win against Westside on the 25th. As for Mauldin, they will challenge Easley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Easley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
