Volleyball Recap: Coshocton Comes Up Short

Coshocton lost against Tuscarawas Valley back in October of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redskins came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-9.

Mallorie Stamper paced Coshocton's offense, picking up seven kills. Stamper got some help from Kylee Raber and her seven assists. Stamper was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Coshocton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Coshocton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they will challenge Barnesville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
