Basketball Game Preview: The Classical Academy Titans vs. Pueblo South Colts

The Classical Academy Titans will head out on the road to take on the Pueblo South Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Classical Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Pueblo South likes a good challenge.

The Classical Academy easily dispatched Sierra on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Classical Academy fell just short of Peyton by a score of 63-61 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Titans have suffered since November 27, 2023.

Meanwhile, Pueblo South came up short against Pueblo County on Monday and fell 51-44.

The Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Pueblo South, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-13.

The Classical Academy was dealt a bruising 71-25 defeat at the hands of Pueblo South in their previous matchup back in January of 2022. Can The Classical Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
