Basketball Recap: South Guilford HomeSchool Comes Up Short

South Guilford HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 51-36 bruising from the Oak Forest Warriors. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 63-42.

Oak Forest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Hunter led the charge by shooting 50% from the field on his way to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Hampton Dixon, who went 6-for-13 en route to 15 points.

South Guilford HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 24-18. As for Oak Forest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-15.

As of now, neither South Guilford HomeSchool nor Oak Forest have any future games scheduled.
