Plano had won seven straight games and Josie Larson did her part to make it eight on Wednesday. The Plano Reapers strolled past the Yorkville Christian Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 65-46 thanks in part to Larson, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten boards. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Sanai Young, who went 8 of 17 on her way to 20 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Yorkville Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Payton Wallin, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. Wallin has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last six times she's played. Taylor Vugteveen was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Plano is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Yorkville Christian, they moved to 12-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Plano will square off against Richmond-Burton at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Richmond-Burton: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Plano has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Yorkville Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Islamic Foundation at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Yorkville Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.
