North Knox kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Sullivan Golden Arrows and fell 42-7. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Cooper Lemberg threw for 145 yards and one touchdown. Camden McCory was his top target, picking up 76 receiving yards. On the ground, Will Arnold rushed for 67 yards.

A big part of Sullivan's victory came down to the chemistry between Blake Fraker and his top target Zane Catlin. Fraker threw for 199 yards and four TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes while Catlin gained 132 total yards and four touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Catlin a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (three). Clark French handled things on the ground, rushing for 113 yards.

North Knox has already played their next game, a 53-13 win against Eastern Greene on the 29th. As for Sullivan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-7 victory against South Vermillion on the 29th.
