Basketball Game Preview: Canterbury Crusaders vs. Lakeside Christian Lions

Canterbury and Lakeside Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Canterbury Crusaders will square off against the Lakeside Christian Lions on Tuesday. Canterbury will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Canterbury is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Foundation Christian Academy to the tune of 69-35 on Friday. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Crusaders had established a 22 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Lakeside Christian can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Hernando Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 39-23.

Lakeside Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11. As for Canterbury, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Canterbury beat Lakeside Christian 62-55 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Lakeside Christian's Mauricia Climes, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds.
