Shyanne Ross made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Owyn McCoy, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Lexie Highlander was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
