After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Spokane, Mead was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Ferris Saxons. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Saxons: they've now won four in a row.

Mead's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Ferris, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mead is set to face off against their familiar foe Lewis & Clark at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ferris will take on rival Shadle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
