Basketball Recap: Brooklynn Weber's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Park over Saratoga

North Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. The matchup between the North Park Wildcats and the Saratoga Panthers didn't end well, with the North Park Wildcats falling 43-28. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 70-36 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

North Park lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brooklynn Weber, who posted six points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Sessions, who had five points along with five boards and three steals.

North Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Saratoga, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

North Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-18 loss against Soroco on the 21st. Saratoga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
