Recap: Triboro Christian Academy vs. Columbia County Christian
Triboro Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a rough 65-28 loss at the hands of Columbia County Christian.
Leading Columbia County Christian to victory were Clay Farley and Pierce Cughan. Farley scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Cughan scored 12 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Hunter Fritz, who scored four points.
Triboro Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Columbia County Christian, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Triboro Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Columbia County Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Walnut Street Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
