Baseball Recap: 11 Straight Home Victories for Holy Redeemer

Holy Redeemer's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Blue Ridge Raiders by a score of 8-3.

Cody Quaglia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Quaglia was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zachary Schultz, who earned two RBI, two runs, and two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Marranca, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Holy Redeemer's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Blue Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.
