Basketball Recap: San Domenico Find Success

San Domenico hadn't done well against San Marin recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The San Domenico Panthers walked away with a 57-46 victory over the San Marin Mustangs. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 58-52 defeat the last time these two teams met.

San Marin lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Miller Morgan, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jason Gillen, who earned ten points.

San Domenico's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for San Marin, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the San Domenico Panthers take on the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lick-Wilmerding will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something San Domenico surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Marin, they will welcome Archie Williams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. San Marin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.6 points per game this season.
