Basketball Game Preview: Wooster Colts vs. Hug Hawks

Wooster and Hug are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Wooster Colts will be playing at home against the Hug Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wooster knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Hug likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Wooster got the win against Truckee by a conclusive 64-42.

Meanwhile, Hug was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 58-42 to South Tahoe.

Wooster has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Hug, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Wooster beat Hug 69-59 in their previous matchup on January 8th. Does Wooster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hug turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
