Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillsboro). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Hunters Lane Warriors 84-24. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Burros considering their one-point performance the match before.

Despite the defeat, Hunters Lane saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alayla Owens went 8 of 18 on her way to 17 points.

Hillsboro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.6 points per game. As for Hunters Lane, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Hillsboro and Hunters Lane's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Hillsboro and Overton (who has only given up 26.12 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
