Unioto had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They blew past the Southeastern Panthers, posting a 64-31 win. Given the Shermans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Panthers are ranked 402nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Unioto's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. As for Southeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Unioto will be playing in front of their home fans against Westfall at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Unioto knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Westfall likes a good challenge. As for Southeastern, they will face off against Zane Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Zane Trace is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.
