Baseball Recap: Bell County Comes Up Short

Bell County lost against Harlan on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bobcats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to the Green Dragons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joseph Brigmon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Cooper Brock was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Bell County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Harlan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

While Bell County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Tuesday.
