Volleyball Recap: Spanish Fork Finds Playoff Glory Versus Bonneville

It's playoff time, and Spanish Fork had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Bonneville Lakers on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Spanish Fork was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-15.

Kamohoalii Chan paced Spanish Fork's offense, picking up eight kills. Chan got some help from Mason Swenson and his 23 assists. Chan was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Spanish Fork's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Bonneville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Spanish Fork will face off against Alta at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Dons surely won't give up without a fight. Bonneville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
