Basketball Recap: CSTHEA Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

CSTHEA won the last time they faced Life Christian Academy, and Ivan Huffman did his part to make sure it happened again. The CSTHEA Patriots walked away with a 56-48 win over the Life Christian Academy Lions on Friday thanks in part to Huffman, who went 8 for 18 en route to 21 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Ryan Swanson, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 11 points and eight boards. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last nine times he's played.

CSTHEA has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Life Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, CSTHEA and Life Christian Academy will both be playing Rocket City the next time they take the court. CSTHEA will head out to face Rocket City at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Life Christian Academy will head out to face them at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
