Softball Recap: Pendleton County Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pendleton County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Woodford County Yellowjackets by a score of 10-7. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 10-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pendleton County's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Woodford County, their record now sits at 2-14.

Coming up, Pendleton County will venture away from home to square off against Frederick Douglass at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodford County, they will welcome Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
