Volleyball Recap: Land O' Lakes Christian Comes Up Short

Land O' Lakes Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 25-14.

Sports Leadership & Management can attribute much of their success to Joey Escalera-Hernandez, who had three digs and three aces.

Land O' Lakes Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Land O' Lakes Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Forest on the 4th.
