Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tracharie Allen and Ava Pazos Lead Olympia to Victory

Olympia won the last time they faced Lake Buena Vista and things went their way on Tuesday too. The stars were shining brightly for the Olympia Titans in a 41-26 victory over the Lake Buena Vista Vipers. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.

Leading Olympia to victory were Ava Pazos and TraCharie Allen. Pazos dropped a double-double on 11 assists and ten steals, while Allen dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Those 17 points gave Allen a new career-high.

Olympia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Olympia's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Lake Buena Vista, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Olympia will take on Evans in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Buena Vista, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
