Nova came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Blanche Ely Tigers 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Nova was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Daniel He, who had seven aces and seven assists. Those seven aces gave him a new career-high. Wesnel Alexandre also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

He wasn't the only good server: Nova was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests.

Nova pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Blanche Ely, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Nova has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Chaminade-Madonna on the 11th. As for Blanche Ely, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hallandale at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st.
