Millville scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 76-58 to the Burlington Township Falcons. The Thunderbolts' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Burlington Township was led to victory by Baron Davis and Quayd Hendryx. Davis went 11 for 15 on his way to 30 points and seven rebounds, while Hendryx went 9 of 15 on his way to 19 points in addition to six boards and five assists. The contest was Davis' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Larbie, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Millville's record now sits at 1-5. As for Burlington Township, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millville will head out to challenge Pleasantville at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Burlington Township, they will venture away from home to take on Holy Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burlington Township knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Holy Cross likes a good challenge.
