It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Gray's Creek had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lee County Yellow Jackets. The win was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won 17 contests in a row.

Gray's Creek never let Lee County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-19.

Taylor Baggett paced Gray's Creek's offense, picking up 14 kills. Baggett got some help from Ellivia Feliciano and her 21 assists. Baggett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Gray's Creek's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Lee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Gray's Creek has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Middle Creek on the 25th. Lee County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
