Volleyball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

After flying high against Central two weeks ago, Fairfax came back down to earth. The Stampede lost 3-0 to the Alhambra Lions on Tuesday. The Stampede have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Fairfax's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Alhambra, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fairfax is set to face off against their familiar foe Metro Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Alhambra will challenge rival Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
