Basketball Recap: Timnath Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Timnath ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They walked away with a 66-57 victory over the Thompson Valley Eagles.

Timnath's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Roselle, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Roselle is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 16 games he's played. Jack Hemme was another key player, putting up 16 points and six boards.

Timnath was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They posted six more assists than Thompson Valley's also-impressive total of ten.

When it comes to explaining why Thompson Valley lost, don't look at Dominic Shideler. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-14 on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carson Brian, who posted two points along with six assists and five steals.

Timnath has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Thompson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
