Soccer Recap: Eagle's Landing Takes a Loss

If Eagle's Landing was riding high fresh off their 7-3 takedown of Stockbridge last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagle's Landing Eagles fell just short of the Locust Grove Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Eagle's Landing's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Locust Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Eagle's Landing will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on March 11th. As for Locust Grove, they are taking a road trip to challenge McDonough at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Locust Grove is facing McDonough at the right time seeing as McDonough is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
