Basketball Recap: Rosa Fort Comes Up Short

Rosa Fort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 71-37 loss at the hands of the North Panola Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 59-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Rosa Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Panola, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Rosa Fort will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Horn Lake at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for North Panola, they will take on Olive Branch in a tournament on Thursday. One thing working in Olive Branch's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
