Baseball Recap: Glen Burnie Takes a Loss

Glen Burnie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Severna Park Falcons. If the Gophers were looking for revenge after losing 13-2 to the Falcons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Glen Burnie saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Dailey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Dailey is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Logan Collins also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Glen Burnie's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Severna Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Glen Burnie is set to square off against their familiar foe Annapolis at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Severna Park will challenge rival Broadneck at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
