Football Game Preview: Passaic Indians vs. Kennedy Knights

The Passaic Indians will take on the Kennedy Knights on Friday. Kennedy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Passaic, who comes in off a win.

Passaic will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Eastside, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Ghosts 16-14. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly two points.

The critical scores for Passaic came from Ryan Valdez and Justin Griffin.

Meanwhile, Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Bloomfield and fell 38-7. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Bengals are ranked 158th).

The win got Passaic back to even at 3-3. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Passaic's way against Kennedy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Passaic made off with a 26-0 victory. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
