Baseball Recap: Sierra Lutheran's Losing Streak Snapped at Nine Games

Sierra Lutheran can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Silver Stage Nighthawks by a score of 15-10. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Matt Fahey made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Sierra Lutheran is 2-1 when Fahey allows one or fewer hits, but 1-9-1 otherwise. Fahey was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Grayson Ricks was a standout: he scored four runs and stole eight bases while going 4-for-5. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.4 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Noah Ramirez, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
