Basketball Game Preview: Williams Field Black Hawks vs. Highland Hawks

The Williams Field Black Hawks will challenge the Highland Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Williams Field is headed into Friday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 75-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Higley on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (58), the Black Hawks still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Highland waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 72-39. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Highland's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Williams Field, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
